Until that point in the story, I was enjoying the build up of the romance. At any moment, I expected her to just roll over and play dead. Especially her response to being demeaned. Her responses, in my opinion, were lackluster and therefore slightly unbelievable. There were a few situations where she was around men who were attempting to dominate and control her through their actions and demeaning comments. Unfortunately, what I found was a woman that was a little too weak and passive. The main female character appeared to be trying to find herself. He was little flawed but sensitive enough to make you care. The premise seemed promising and I assumed it could lead to a cute and maybe amusing romance story. No one under the age of 18 should listen to this book. It is racy and has some very explicit sex scenes. I really enjoyed this audio book as I have always enjoyed this book period. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?Ĭan you find the courage to take a wild chance on love? To live out your wild fantasies for 8 weeks? Would you dare? I have not listened to anything by Liz Chastain before, but I have already downloaded the second book in the series and will be listening to it soon.

Have you listened to any of Liz Chastain’s other performances before? How does this one compare? She is heroic in the fact that she finds the courage to try and make a new life when he dies and she is everything that Navarro needs in his life. She never puts her dead husband down, even if he was sadly lacking. My favorite character is Trina, because she is the most loyal woman ever. Instead of cyborgs and new species (which I love as well) I can sit back and feel like I am a part of the story. This is one of my favorite Laurann Dohnner books because the people are more real. Raine to be better than the print version? Would you consider the audio edition of Propositioning Mr. How do you proposition a cowboy? Quick and hard!
